The Chicano Hispanic Latin American Alliance (ACHLA) in collaboration with Riverside Elementary School will undertake a free math and reading tutoring program for Latino students.
Juntos Club has been a tutoring program thatreaches out to the diverse community. ACHLA members and collaborators have supported to the community members through the 20 plus years of tutoring. These sessions are largely funded by the Minnesota Department of Education using Funding Source/Legislative Authority: Chapter 55, Article 2, Section 64, Subd. 3.
Empower students to become leaders, develop life skills, prioritize education, increase school retention, and ultimately support graduation rates.
Saturday 10:00 AM - Noon
K-12 Student Sessions: One-on-One Math tutoring and group tutor sessions.
Adult Sessions:
Self-care and caring for others, emotional education on mindfulness, financial education, English help, CPR classes, community resources.
*No pre-registration required. Adults must bring the child and sign in at the beginning and sign out at the end of each session. Work materials and light snacks will be provided.
